W. Lloyd Barnard, MD, is a graduate of Colgate University. In 1973, he graduated from the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. His Orthopaedic residency was at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.
After his fellowship in shoulder surgery at Columbia with Charles Neer, MD, and a fellowship in hip and knee surgery , he went into private practice. He joined University Orthopedics in 1996.
