Osteoporosis Research Study
Osteoporosis causes broken bones, pain and loss of mobility. Rhode Island
Hospital is currently conducting a osteoporosis research study.
You may be eligible for this study if you are:
A woman age 45 years or older with known osteoporosis, or are at risk for
osteoporosis. Some risk factors are as follows:
- Family history of osteoporosis
- Smoking or excessive caffeine
- Fracture within 5 years
- Significant height loss
If you are eligible you will receive FREE bone density tests, study
medication including calcium and Vitamin D, and FREE parking.
