Additional Benefits for Patients 
For many cancer patients, lengthy courses of treatment mean major
interruptions in their normal lives. Because Trilogy delivers
higher doses of radiation in less time than other radiation methods,
treatment times are significantly reduced for most patients. For
example, a course of treatment that would last six to seven weeks
using another radiation technology would only take one week to
complete using Trilogy. In addition, Trilogy's ability to treat
smaller areas means less radiation-related side effects for patients.
Radiation can be directed at the cancerous tissues without damaging
the normal, surrounding tissue.
