Cary is responsible for administering all baseline, 6- and 12-month assessments including the 7-Day Physical Activity Recall Interview on Keeping the Beat - Cardiac Rehab Study. Cary oversees recruitment and conducts phone screens and informed consent for all participants. She is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all baseline, 6- and 12- month appointments including the wearing of the BioTrainer Accelerometers, and the ordering and scheduling of stress tests and blood work at Cardiac Rehab. Cary is responsible for the collection and entry of all assessments for this study. For the Moving Forward With Life breast cancer study, Cary delivers a phone-based intervention using Motivational Interviewing techniques, plus print materials sent through the mail, to motivate sedentary breast cancer survivors to exercise.
